Lakshya is a 2004 war drama based on a fictional backdrop of the 1999 Kargil war produced by Farhan Akhtar this film was not so well received neither among critics nor Hrithik Roshan fans due to lack luster cinematography as per as the critics. However the film later went on to bag 230 million rupees at the box office as well as added a large fanbase to the star.
9. Rocket Singh (2009):
The movie depicted the life of young sales people. Ranbir Kapoor played a Sikh with turban and beard. In spite of the skillful performances of Ranbir and Gauhar, the movie failed at the box office. This movie is said to be based on the real life love triangle of the main actors, Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, and Rekha. The movie was shot at exquisite locations, making it visually appealing. In spite of all these the movie did not see success at first. However, in the present day it is considered to be one of the greatest Bollywood movies.

The movie initially failed at the box office due to lack of proper promotion.
